:shock:  The fuck... probably has something to do with the event so that you actually get back all items that he had... since that boolean worked for every character I tested.

You could try making a new Gaffy, but I'm unsure how things would work out. ;/

I guess that if you take the time to powerlevel jobs up to bard/dancer, it should be worth it. And they should still be decent at higher levels. So I suppose there aren't any problems now.

Huh... I never even take notes in french.French is a good language to chat, write texts & talk, but other than that it's horrible. Especially french translated games; they make me want to puke.

We could give Boco all chocobo skills but with weaker stats.

I still don't know for sprites. I haven't checked yet on how to make a new sprite being completely functional.

Huh, I fear that will take several updates. The amount of work for that is gigantic. I'll probably do it though... right now what i'm planning is the following & in order:

Err I'm not sure we can perfectly implement Mystic Knight yet.

Weapon strike is Weapon Elemental & I'm not sure Black Mage spells are compatible with Weapon strike either.

I learned pretty much everything about text. I'm more than ready to code my text editing.Your little money will get its ass kicked to the moon.

Well after I decide how I'll save the table.  :wink:

For all 2200 characters, with 16 bytes long input/display/output would give plenty of possibilities for a bit more than 100kb.

That means you could take Reflect's byte and easily make it display as {reflect} (9 out of 16 possible bytes).
Or you could make Bracelet (FFT format) display Breath, and save as Breath (FFT format).

Changing the name of a character everywhere in the game will be easy as pie with that.[/code]

The Description Memo is what appears when you press select on an ability.

If by changing the abilities' effect you mean like making Statis sword a high chance of knockback and instant break all equipment; the answer is no.

Maybe in a latter version but right now there's plenty of stuff to add before I should actually work on trying to find new things.

With the number of jobs compared to the number of abilities (1:4 ratio) and multiple jobs sharing the same abilities... wouldn't it get messy? Plus how would you even edit all Lucavi's second skillset?

The way FFT was made wouldn't make the editor very friendly if I were to do that.  :?

Abilities section

Capabilities:
Ab1 sheet (Excel), Ab2 sheet (Excel), linked effect, ability name/description/quote.



It's not perfect, I'll work on it after some coding. But is that good for a design? Anyway people will be able to double click static text for deeper information on anything they wouldn't know what it would do.

Of course the real thing won't have all those black dots and the left field will be filled with all Abilities name like:

001: Cure
002: Cure 2
003: Cure 3
004: Cure 4
005: Protect

I'll do my best for the easiest navigation possible.

Yeah, I know.

I'm currently designing, and I never thought that alone would take this much time.

After that, it's text editing, then the saving function and it should be up.

I want to do the text editing right now as the users will be able to directly modify the ability name and quote directly from the Ability Editing form. I don't want to do something that I'll remove afterwards when I'd implement the text editing.

Mmmm, slow.  :)

I almost got everything planed except for my font editor. Same for the text editor since I want to make a file the user can edits to sets converting values at loading/saving, that way punctuation marks could be converted, just like that).

Don't push me, I'm a newb at programming. Almost all my experience comes from SC Triggers; XD.

Found it. Well, I know that I'll have to use ShowModal for my purposes. I'm not sure as how to use it though.

Fix Protect/Shell bug.
I never found Protect 2 worth it for +2 vertical tolerance while chance of inflicting it was 57% instead of 85%.
