Are my initial impressions so far, yeah.  It's novel and refreshing.  I don't recall FFT+ enough to know where it sits on the spectrum between vanilla and 1.3, but Proper is in a sweet spot between the two.  Upgrade in every capacity over Vanilla so far, and doesn't require the precision or overpowering brute force 1.3 calls for.  With Br/Fa modding and speed abuse still being possible, some restraint may be necessary but if that's inline with the design philosophy so be it. 

And it's not absurd like LFT (imo!  I tried it but couldn't muster.  Its design philosophy was to make an improved game but still be SCC viable which... I don't think was executed well)

I'd try this patch, but i don't think I'm proper enough and the tag line urks me a bit

So I thought I could edit the TRAP file in Shishi and just reimport it, but I guess it's not that simple?
Now all of the effects from said sheet have lost their transparency.
Does someone know where TRAP is located in the IMG so I can copy it from a vanilla one?
Or if anyone knows how to edit it properly and import it through Shishi that would also be fantastic. (:

You didn't get an answer because you provided literally no information.

What did you do to the sheet?
What program did you edit it with?

Etc.

Chances are -you- did something that removed the transparency.

I took a look earlier and it really is as simple as some fftpatcher changes.

What are some general AI improvements you'd all recommend?

Care to explain what you mean, cuz I can tell you, no, it's not "as simple as some patcher changes"

You need to uncheck a few of those at a time and make a new patch and try to patch again with tactext (version .457) until you can narrow down where your issue is at, once you have the specific section figured it, it'll be much easier to find the issue by removing a few entries at a time until you find out either the culprit or that you hit a space limit.

How so?

In searching ancient posts I noticed that Raven tends towards highly emotional responses to criticism or even just honest questions.  In my experience people that are extremely aggressive on the internet are usually overcompensating for a lack of something in real life.

I used to be like that when I was a teenager, but now that I have a job, a wife, a kid on the way, and an extended social support network that I must maintain I don't get so worked up about anything.  If he wants advice on how to get these things I'm happy to share it.  We all go through growing pains and phases; being angry on the internet is one of them.

Well, aren't you just a enlightened little snowflake. No, no one wants your 'advice'. Personally, you annoy the hell out of me, if we had another one like you around here, they wouldn't do well either.

Sorry I've been sluggish with any progress, lots on my mind this past week or so. Anyway I've been approaching this from two different angles; pasting over a head and editing finer details, and changing a sprites clothing to resemble another's but keep the original form. The second option is proving quite the hassle so the former held my attention today. Couldn't finish before work, but here's a sample. Thoughts before I finish it?


We already have a full sheet that looks like that somewhere on the forum

2) The people who make mods here, already know how to do what they want to do. In case you haven't noticed, there is like, maybe 10 active people on this site who work on things. You aren't currently one of them.

This info doesnt help, what you need to do is post your events (battle event and victory event) as well as your attack.out GUI settings and conditions settings.

Sounds to me that you just tried to insert a battle or event somewhere but never set it up in the conditions sheet, which is required, as mentioned above.
